FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, April 6, 1867 Large ftpg. illus: "The Riot On St. Patrick's Day --The Attack Of The Police at Grand and Pitts Streets, New York City". Inside is a half page "Ruins Of The Winter Garden Theatre" and a full page: "Mardi Gras Celebration, New Orleans -- Procession Of The Mistick Krewe Of Comus".
Tipped-in to the issue is a fine (and rarely seen) centerfold of: "Hon. Thaddeus Stevens" which was "Presented gratuitously to Every Purchaser of No. 601 of Frank Leslie's Illustrated".
Complete in 16 pages plus the gratis print, very nice condition.
