November 26, 1937
ARIZONA REPUBLIC, Phoenix, Nov. 26, 1937

* Last major train robbery in the U.S.
* Deming, Luna County, New Mexico
* Henry Loftus and Harry Donaldson

You might call it the official end of the "Wild West", but in any case the bold banner headline announces what is considered the last major train robbery in the country: "BANDITS KILL TRAINMAN; BADLY BEATEN, CAPTURED" with related subheads and photos. This happened near Deming, New Mexico, so nice to have the report in a nearby Phoenix newspaper.
Complete in 12 page, various margin tears with fold & margin wear with some minor margin loss.
