THE NORTHAMPTON MERCURY, England, Nov. 24, 1760
* Anglo-Cherokee War
Page 2 has a nice account of the Siege of Fort Loudoun in present-day Tennessee, a fight between the Cherokee Indians & the British soldiers in the fort (see hyperlink for further details). Included is a letter signed in type by the British commander: Paul Demere.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed with very wide margins, some worm holes to the left side do not come close to the noted content, otherwise very nice.
