September 16, 1935

NEW YORK TIMES, Sept. 16, 1935  A very historic issue with the top of the front page having a 3 line, 2 column headline: "REICH ADOPTS SWASTIKA AS NATION'S OFFICIAL FLAG; HITLER'S REPLY TO 'INSULT' " with related subheads including: "Anti-Jewish Laws Passed" "Non-Aryans Deprived of Citizenship and Right to Intermarry" "Forbidden to Show Flag" "They Are Warned by Hitler Further 'Provocative' Acts Will Draw Reprisals" "Reichstad Is Voiceless" and more.
Complete in 38 pages, small archival repair to bottom right corner of front leaf causes no loss of readability to noted article (see photos), very nice condition. This is the "rag edition" printed on very high quality newspaper exclusively for institutional use.
