NEW YORK SPECTATOR, Oct. 21, 1817 Page 2 has a lengthy article titled: "African Colonization, No. 1" which is continued. Also pg. 2 has an article: "African Colonization" which begins: "The colony of Sierra Leone has been checked in its progress by some peculiar obstacles..." Also a pg. 2: "Proclamation" by Gov. DeWitt Clinton for a day of thanksgiving & prayer.
Four pages, some light staining to the top quadrant, good condition.
