Both foldout plates called for are present being "A Design for a Bridge Over Yarmouth Haven..." which measures 7 1/4 by 14 inches, and "A Profile of the River Thames from Boulters Lock to Mortlake" which measures 8 1/4 by 18 1/2 inches. Both plates also have ink off-setting from being folded within themselves for over 200 years.
Complete in 48 pages, 5 1/4 by 8 1/2 inches, full title/contents page with an engraving of St.John 's Gate, very nice condition.
A very nice magazine from the "mother country" not long before the outbreak of the Revolutionary War with a wide range of varied content. This was the first periodical to use the word "magazine" in its title, having begun in 1731 and lasting until 1907.
