* Early Louisiana land purchase
The front page has: "Louisiana Treaty" which takes over half a column, continued in a future issue. This was a controversial topic at the time, with one comment in the text noting: "...article of complaint against the Senate of the U. States for not publishing the contents of the treaty to the people at large before they proceeded to complete it by their ratification...' and also: "...against the President for not submitting the treaty to the people before it was ratified in the Senate...".
Four pages, very nice condition.
