THE WEEKLY JOURNAL OR SATURDAY'S-POST, London, June 4, 1720 This newspaper has one of the more ornate & intricately engraved mastheads to be found from the 18th century, making it a great issue for display. A wealth of news within its 6 pages including many reports under ""Casualties" including: "The same day two gentlemen happening to quarrel at a Coffee house on Ludgate Hill went out & drew upon one another & before they could be parted were both wounded, one being run thro' the write & the other into the tongue." Also a case of arson (see).
Six pages, the back leaf being taken up with advertisements. Minor paper-making flow to the back leaf, very nice condition, 8 1/2 by 14 inches.
