This uncommon Midwestern title has news of the day with many advertisements. Page 5 has an article headed: "MARDI GRAS" "Magnificent Displays in Various Cities" "Origin of the Celebration in Cincinnati" "Most Beautiful Tableaux in Memphis and New Orleans" and more. (see) Lengthy text takes up almost 2 1/2 columns.
This issue is not fragile as newsprint back then was made of cotton and linen rags, allowing them to remain very pliable and easy to handle. Complete in 8 pages, minor irregularity along the spine, very nice condition.
