As the report from the National Archives website notes: "On January 27, 1880, Thomas Edison received the historic patent embodying the principles of his incandescent lamp that paved the way for the universal domestic use of electric light." This issue reports that historic event. The page 6 article is headed: "Edison's Last Patent" "Abstract of the Specifications for the Electric Light" with the text beginning: "Letters patent were granted to Thomas A. Edison on January 27 for his new electric lamp..." with much more including specifics of the improved invention (see).
Eight pages, browned at the margin, rejoined at the spine, a bit irregular at the blank spine, good condition.
