A very nice issue announcing the "false" armistice, ending World War I. The United Press report that the armistice had been signed was a bit premature--it would officially happen 4 days later (hence this report--found in many newspapers--is considered the "false armistice"). Note the ftpg. headline: "United Press Is First With Greatest Scoop"
The large, bold banner headline announces: "WAR ENDS" with related subheads.
This is the front leaf only (pages 1 & 2), the actual number of pages that were present are unknown. A little margin wear, nice for display as such.
