THE GENTLEMAN'S JOURNAL OR THE MONTHLY MISCELLANY, London, April, 1692 If 18th century magazines are scarce, titles from the 17th century are exceedingly rare. Here is one such title, subtitled: "To A Gentleman in the Country Consisting of News, History, Philosophy, Poetry, Musick, Translations, etc."This issue features a full titlepage, with page 2 having "The Contents" (see). The back six pages are music (see).
Measures 5 3/4 by 7 3/4 inches, 34 pages, very nice condition. A very rare & early issue.
