December 08, 1807

THE REPERTORY, Boston, Massachusetts, December 8, 1807  Under the "Died" section on page 3 is a small notice "Mr. Prince Hall, Aet. 72, Master of the African Lodge."
On March 6, 1775, Prince Hall was made a Master Mason in Irish Constitution Military Lodge No. 441, along with fourteen other African Americans, all of whom apparently were free by birth.
Other news and advertisements, some of which are illustrated ship ads, are within.
This is complete in four pages with scattered lite foxing, otherwise is in good condition.
