The banner headline announces the end of the Vietnam War with: "S. VIETNAM SURRENDERS" with a subhead: "Viet Cong Troops, Tanks Pour Into Saigon as Red forces Take Over City" with 3 related front page photos, one showing a U.S. helicopter taking off from the U.S. embassy. A painful end to a very controversial war, and an event which defined the era.
The complete first section (of 7) with pages 1-24. Very nice, clean condition.
