The bold banner headline announces the verdict in one of the more notable crimes of the 20th century: "MANSON GUILTY" with the banner subhead: "Three Girls Are Also Convicted" with a ftpg. photo captioned: "Manson--Mastermind of murders. Jury found him guilty of directing slaying of seven." as well as a photo of Patricia Krenwinkel, Leslie Van Houten and Susan Atkins. The article carries over to page 2 with further detail including photos of 4 victims (see).
This is the front leaf only containing pages 1 and 2 but fortunately the article on the Manson trial is contained on these two pages. In very nice, clean condition, and terrific to have this report in a Los Angeles newspaper, where the crime and the trial were held.
