THE DAILY POST-BOY, London, May 23, 1732 The front page has a report from a ship off the coast of Guinea, noting: "We have now about 260 Slaves on board & hope to get out of this unwholesome place about a month hence...the said ship, dated from S. Christopher's, which , which say they have buried in all 12 men and 128 slaves; that the captain, Doctor & Mr. Masters the Chief Mate with several of the people & some slaves, are in a very sickly & weak condition..." with more (see).
