This issue was printed during the brief period between the end of the Revolutionary War and the creation of the Federal Constitution. Page 3 has a report relating to the Yankee-Pennamite Wars, during which people in Connecticut laid claim to Pennsylvania land along the north branch of the Susquehanna River (see hyperlink). Also a letter from Kentucky which: "Our third convention have...with the concurrence of some more important personages...confirmed the decree of separation from Virginia."
