* re. Siege of Fort Erie


Most of page 2 is taken up with various: "Documents" concerning the work towards finding terms for peace to end the War of 1812. If is prefaced with a brief "Message" to Congress concerning it, signed: James Madison.
Page 3 has: "A Proclamation for a day of Public Thanksgiving and Prayer" signed by Governor Caleb Strong. Also. a letter from Mobile signed: Andrew Jackson. And: "he Late Dispatches" "More War Blessings" and the back page has: "British Account of the Erie Sortie".
Four pages, minor rubbing to the top of the ftpg., small piece from the right margin affects no text, nice condition.
