Needless to say Austin newspapers from just a few years after the Civil War are very difficult to obtain. Among the items are: "Send Him to Texas" "Conservative Delegation From Tennessee" "Dust & Death" "Texas at Washington" "Admission of Texas" & much more.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, loss to a portion of the top margin of the back leaf only, otherwise very nice.
