FITCHBURG SENTINEL, Massachusetts, Aug. 13, 1892 Page 7 has an illustration captioned: "Lizzie Borden. Now Charged With the Murder of Her Father and Ste--mother" with a bit of text, beginning: "Lizzie Borden is now definitely charged with the murder of her father and step-mother by the Fall River police. The suspected young woman is unusually fine looking..." with more concerning her (see).
Coverage continues on page 8 where the first column is headed: "Taken To Taunton" "Lizzie A. Borden's Present Home is in Jail" "Committed Without Bail" "She Pleads Not Guilty at the Opening of the Trial..." and more (see). Only rarely do we find reports on Lizzie Borden which include a print of her.
Great to have this report in a newspaper from just 83 miles distant from Fall River. Ten pages, various margin tears with some margin chipping, evenly toned.
