THE ATHENIAN MERCURY, London, June 20,1693  The back page has an advertisement  for the book "A Further Account of the Tryals of the New-England WITCHES..." by Increase Mather. This is the only periodical that I have ever seen with any reference to the famous witch trials at Salem, Massachusetts. A fascinating and very uncommon item.
A quarto-size single sheet in unusually nice condition.
