The sport section (page 26) has a seven column headline: "Hubbell, Frisch, Cochrane, Grove Named to Baseball's Hall of Fame" with subheads and photos of Carl Hubbell, Frankie Frisch, Mickey Cochrane and Lefty Grove. This is 1st report coverage on the 1947 baseball hall of fame inductions. Also a report on the same page on Bob Feller signing a record breaking contract with photo.
