Inside has a nice 5 1/2 by 3 1/2 inch portrait of "Nellie Bly", plus a similar-sized portrait of "Miss Elizabeth Bisland", and caption: "The Attempt To Make The Circuit Of The Globe In Seventy-Two Days--Portraits Of The Rival Tourists". Both are part of a brief article entitled: 'The Globe Trotters' " (see photos).
Also in this issue is a full page with six scenes: "Buying A Hundred Shares Of Stock--The Process Illustrated", plus captions for each scene and a report: "A Hundred Shares Of Stock". Plus a full page: "California--Destruction of a Portion of Sierra City on the Yuba River, by an Avalanche..." and a full page: "An Indian-Trader's Store on the Western Plains" and other prints.
Complete in 16 pages, this issue has minor margin wear. Otherwise it is in good condition.
