This is the "...Newspaper of U.S. Armed Forces in the European Theater...". The banner head announces: "Yanks Cross Czech Border" but the more significant front page report is: "Ernie Pyle Is Killed in Action" with a photo of him. Pyle was a much loved war correspondent who was published in 300 newspapers. He won the Pulitzer Prize in 1944.
Great to have this report in a military newspaper. Eight pages, disbound, nice condition.
