THE INDEPENDENT CHRONICLE & UNIVERSAL ADVERTISER, Boston, June 20, 1796 This newspaper has one of the more decorative mastheads of the 18th century (see). Page 3 has an interesting letter which begins: "The treaty lately negociated with Great Britain has been the means of destroying, effectually, the friendship which so happily subsisted between American and France..." with much more.
Four pages, minor ink stain on page 2, great condition.
