September 26, 1812
COLUMBIAN CENTINEL, Boston, Massachusetts, September 26, 1812  Nearly two columns on the front page and a bit on page 2 are taken up with "General Hull's Official Report" on the fall of Detroit. A significant issue--and terrific report--from the War of 1812. Additional war news is reported inside the issue.
There is also the report of a hurricane which had struck New Orleans.
Other news and many advertisements of the day are within.
Also on the front page is the "Surrender of Detroit", official letter from Col. Lewis Cass which takes up two full columns.

Other content on the war as well.

This is complete in four pages with a slight irregular left spine and very lite foxing, otherwise in very good condition.
