INDEPENDENT CHRONICLE, Boston, Sept. 24, 1812  The front page has: "Com. Rodgers" and some "Copies of Letters...from Capt. Porter of the U.S. frigate Essex" which carries over to page 2 & includes 4 letters signed by him in type: D. Porter.
Page 2 has: "Surrender of Detroit" followed by: "Detroit" and yet another very lengthy letter with much detail on the battle at Detroit.
Four pages, nice condition.
