source: wikipedia: Charles Arthur Floyd (February 3, 1904 – October 22, 1934), aka "Pretty Boy Floyd," was an American bank robber and alleged killer, romanticized by the press and by folk singer Woody Guthrie in his song "Pretty Boy Floyd".
On October 22, 1934 floyd was shot dead by Melvin Purvis and other FBI agents in a field north of East Liverpool, OH. When the agents approached his body, they found him still alive and gasping for air. He said, "I'm done for. You've hit me twice." Purvis demanded, "Are you Pretty Boy Floyd?!" Floyd responded, "I'm Charles Arthur Floyd!" These were his last words. He died 15 minutes later.
