THE POST BOY, London, Feb. 11, 1707 Note that the year is actually double-dated: 1706/7, depending on which calendar was being used. Today's Gregorian calendar has the year as 1707; the Julian calendar would be 1706.
A very handsome masthead with two nice engravings, one of a postboy trumpeting the news. The front page is filled with various news reports, mostly from Europe while the back page has some news but is mostly taken up with ads including one for "A Negro Boy..." who absconded (see).
Complete as a single sheet newspaper in great condition & measuring 8 1/4 by 14 inches.
