A famous newspaper from the capital of the Confederate States of America, with front page items including: "From the Border" "Eastern North Carolina: "Late Northern News" which includes a dispatch signed in type by: W. S. Rosecrans. Also: "The Carnage at Fredericksburg--Graphic Account from a Yankee Soldier" "Confederate Account of the Battle In Tennessee" which is quite detailed with many subheads (see for portions). Much more as well.
The back page has: "The Handsome Affair at Galveston" and "Vicksburg" with much from the "General Assembly of Virginia, and the balance of the bkpg. is taken up with various ads and notices. Included are many notices for "Deserters" from the war.
Complete as a single sheet newspaper with a banner masthead, generally in very nice condition.
