The front page has: "The N. West Expedition" which begins: "The last accounts from Capt. Parry's expedition were of the 22d July, 1821, when he was near the Upper Sauvage Islands, steering...for Repulse Bay..." (see photos). Captain William Parry was an early, noted Arctic explorer.
