THE PENNSYLVANIA PACKET & DAILY ADVERTISER, Philadelphia, July 3, 1790 The entire front page is taken up with ads, including 14 illustrated ship ads. Page 2 has an interesting report which could appear in today's newspapers: "The great national question in Congress appear altogether subservient to party interest. Instead of permanent measures, they are wasting their time in wrangling about a permanent residence. Did the citizens of these states send these men to Congress to be disputing where they should sit & pay them for raising feuds & animosities upon a question no way interesting to the great business of their election?..." with more (see). The same page has another article on the same theme (see).
Page 3 has an: "Anecdote of Dr. Franklin" concerning religion (see).
Four pages, very nice condition.
