An inside page has a report from the Pennsylvania legislature which includes various resolves concerning the protection of the colony, all 7 shown in the photos below, and including: "...all male white persons within this province between the age of 16 and 50 years who have not already associated & are not conscientiously scrupulous of bearing arms, to join the said association immediately..." with more.
About half of the back page is taken up with news from the New York legislature concerning American manufactures, portions shown in the photos.
Another page has a bit concerning the size of 3 estates in Pennsylvania: "...containing 570,000 acres...the congress have it under consideration to (vacate) the above grants & confiscating them to the use of carrying on the war." (see)
Complete in 8 pages measuring 8 1/4 by 11 inches, very nice condition. Nice to have a newspaper from the significant year of 1776.
