This tells of the 3rd ever Daytona 500 race in which driver Marvin Panch won.
Due to the lack of popularity of NASCAR back then, reporting of these races are either non-existence in most newspapers or are small in comparison of other sports of the time. Nonetheless, still a historic 1st report.
