The front page has one column heads concerning the championship game of the 1911 Major League Baseball World Series, including: "CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD", "Athletics Route Giants", "Great Batting Ends Series", "Three Pitchers Are Hammered", "Wiltse, Ames and Marquard", with the box score and considerable text on the game, carrying over to take over 1 1/2 columns on page 2. However, the best part is the front page photos captioned; "Philadelphia Athletics, Champions Of The World", being a team photo (see image).
Complete in 18 pages, some minor tears at the margins, light browning, otherwise good.
