TAUNTON  DAILY GAZETTE, Massachusetts, March 9, 1916  This 12 page newspaper has a great banner headline above the masthead on the front page: "VILLA ATTACKS U.S. TROOPS" with very nice subheads that include: "DARING MEXICAN RAID ON COLUMBUS, N. M."
A very early report on the Columbus NM raid and the best issue I've seen on this event so far by far.
Other news of the day. Light browning with minor spine wear, otherwise good. Unusually good for this time period.
