INDEPENDENT CHRONICLE: and THE UNIVERSAL ADVERTISER, from Boston, Massachusetts, dated October 26, 1797 On page 3 under an engraving of the State Seal of Massachusetts is: "A Proclamation, For A Day Of Public Thanksgiving." Takes the entire column and concludes in the next column, signed in type: Increase Sumner. Has ornate lettering and an engraving of the State Seal in the masthead.
This is complete in four pages measuring approximately 12 x 19.75 inches with some areas of lite foxing. See photos for details.
