THE NEW YORK TIMES, from New York, dated December 4, 1867. The front page of the issue contains the report of The Charter Election which also includes the extensive reporting of the Wards and recapitulation, etc.
Page 4 contains a report on The President's Message, which was published at length in the previous days' publication. This also includes passage of President Johnson's speech as well.
This is complete in 8 pages with scattered very lite stain on the front page, otherwise in very nice condition. See photos for details.
