The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia, PA, dated April 19, 1865 A desirable and displayable black-bordered issue with great Lincoln Assassination content. The issue includes many details related to the assassination, the transport of President Lincoln's body through Philadelphia, additional arrests, etc., but one of the highlights is the complete text of John Wilkes Booth's letter verifying the premeditated nature of his deed. The issue is uncut and in very good condition. Some fold wear and light browning, but both are minimal (see images).
