TAUNTON DAILY GAZETTE, Massachusetts, February 7, 1958  This 16 page newspaper has a two column headline on page 11: "Bosox William Inks Top Player Contract" with a two column photo of Ted William signing what was then the highest paid one year contract in baseball history.
