August 01, 1911

THE NATIONAL BUILDER, Chicago, Illinois, August, 1911

* Building-themed magazine, with a plan for a house

An uncommon title which is themed on building, with many photos and prints of recent constructions, plans, etc.
This issue still has the foldout plan for "The Webb House, built near Chicago, design no. 344" (see photos below). This issue includes a nice article on this design, including a print of it when finished and the various costs for building it, which total $3390.74.
The foldout print has some minor loss at the folds.
Complete in 70+ pgs., still has the original color wrappers but some soiling & wear, interior pgs. are in nice condition. Contains a great wealth of construction related advertisements.
