THE DETROIT FREE PRESS, Detroit, Michigan, dated February 11, 1924.

The front page of this issue features an article concerning the mining town of Herrin, Illinois entitled:  "More Troops Called Out in Herrin Revolt".  This article states that "It was learned from a reliable source tonight that four thousand members of the United Mine Workers of American working in the vicinty of Herrin, are planning to walk out in the morning, because they have discovered that members of the Ku Klux Klan have been working with them.  Article number eleven of the constitution of the United Mine Workers of America states that no member shall also be a member of the Ku Klux Klan."

This complete issue is in good condition, although it is very fragile.
