Uncommon to find an Israeli newspaper reporting the visit of President Richard Nixon to the Middle East. Headline atop pg. 1 reads: "Nixon Due for 24 hour Visit; Military Assistance Pact Seen; Concern at Atom Aid for Egypt"" with a ftpg. photo of "President Nixon and King Faisal of Saudi Arabia, shortly arfter Nixon's arrival in Jeddah on Friday". There are various related subheads on the ftpg. and inside as well, including a photo of Nixon and Anwar Sadat.
The bkpg. has an article headed: "Nixon Visit Today" which begins: "For the first time, Israel today will welcome a president of the nation that has contributed more than any other to the existence, strength & growth of the State..." with much more. also: "Shalom Mr. Nixon!"
