On page 2 under Yellowstone Expedition is a report stating that the steamboat Western Engineer arrived safely at St. Louis and that Her passage from Pittsbuagh [sic] averaged about eight miles an hour. She met with some difficulties, but none very important. Some Indian chiefs had been permitted to go on board. She would pursue her voyage from St. Louis in a few days. Each leaf is slightly irregular in the upper part of the right margin causing minor loss on the first leaf, has an archival mend to a tear at the top of each leaf, has some foxing, otherwise in good condition.
