Page 2 has Intelligence for the Expedition to the Upper Missouri stating that Kerr left Manuels Fort and later met ...the Western Engineer, Maj. Long and party, 12 miles below the mouth of the river Platte....On the 12th he met Col. Atkinson 175 miles below the Council Bluffs. The rifle regiment and 6th infantry...under the command of Col. Atkinson, ascending in a number of keel boats in good health and spirits... plus other details. Traces of foxing. Untrimmed.
