On page 2 under Massachusetts Glass is a report stating that an extensive Glass-House has been constructed at Chelmsford at the junction of the Middlesex Canal and the Merrimack River by the proprietors of the Glass Manufactory. Says: The furnaces have been blowing for some time. The process...is different...though the glass is equally even and transparent. Perhaps no glass in the world can claim any preference to that of Massachusetts. Other news of the day includes: "Louisiana Treaty" "All About Invasion" " "Port Of Boston" and more. everal interesting advertisements as well. A few stray notations in the margins, otherwise in nice condition.
