Here is a collection of ten full page prints taken from
"Frank Leslie's Illustrated History of the Civil War" which carries several subtitles, including:

War in Virginia - Contrabands Coming into the Federal Camp", "Capture
of Fort de Russy, La., on the 14th of March, 1864, by the Federal
Forces under General Andrew Jackson Smith", "Cumberland Gap and
Heights, Tenn., from the Kentucky Side", "Five Locomotives Built at
Vicksburg, Miss., by the Federal Soldiers, under the Superintendence of
Colonel Coolbaugh, of General mcPherson's Staff", "Sketches in
Beaufort, S. C., and its Vicinity", "Battle of Gettysburg, Thursday
evening, July 2d, 1863, as seen from Rocky Hill, on Meade's Left", "A
New Year's Day Contraband Ball at Vicksburg, Miss.", "Tybee Island,
Savannah River, GA - View of the Lighthouse and Barracks - Destruction
of the Lighthouse by the Confederates", "The 'Grand Skedaddle' of the
Inhabitants from Charleston, S. C., when Threatened by an Attack from
the Federal Troops", "The Confederate Privateer Steamer 'Alabama'
('290'), Captain Raphael Semmes", and more.
This was a publication produced in 1895 dedicated: "To the brave soldiers who fought the battles herein pictured..." and further noting that: "This work will be a supplement to every written history, portraying as it does the striking incidents of battle, and giviing the likenesses of the leaders whose names were on every lip in the days of strife. Here the veterans will find the past recalled & here the young may gain inspiration to emulate their patriotism and devotion.".
Each full page print measures about 11 by 16 inches and is printed upon newsprint which is of higher quality than the pulpish paper used by the daily newspapers of that era. Still quite white and not the least bit fragile.
