THE EDINBURGH EVENING COURANT, Scotland Jan. 9, 1775 Page 2 has the text of the Proclamation issued by the governor of Massachusetts Bay ordering the citizens of the colony to ignore the Militia Act passed by the "unlawfully assembled" Provincial Congress, signed in type: T. Gage. Also word from Philadelphia that the First Continental Congress adjourned on Sept. 26. A pg. 2 report from South Carolina discusses a meeting with the Creek Indians.
