Note: This issue does not have a color cover sheet - which is typical.

In this issue there is an illustration called "'The Only Trouble with Living in the Country is that You Never get the September Magazines Before the Middle of August" by Stuart Davis. There is also an article with photos called "The Vital Need of the Army" by Hon. Lindley M. Garrison--Secretary of War and there also is an article with an illustration called "The Gaynor Charter." The double page illustration is called "'Both Members of this Club'" by George Bellows. There is another article called "The Drama Outlook" and there also is a full page illustration called "'Down at the Corner'" by John Sloan plus much more.

Other advertisements of the day are included as well, helping to portray life at the turn of the century. This issue is in very good condition.
