ILLUSTRATED CHRISTIAN WEEKLY, New York, Feb. 17, 1872 Full page of a young farm girl feeding chickens with and a farm-hand leading horses into a building, with snow falling: " Winter. Drawn By F.O.C. Darley". Darley, a noted illustrator of the day, illustrated Irvings "Rip Van Winkle" in 1849.

This issue has news of the day & many interesting advertisements which gives a good idea how life was back then.   A nice issue from this Southern New York town.
